We are heartbroken about the loss of Mira a"h.  She was loved by her family, friends and students, and she touched the lives of so many. To the hundreds of children she taught over the last thirty years, she was and always will be Morah Mira. So many of her students and their families had remained a part of her life, and their love and support helped keep her with us that much longer.

We were all humbled by how she faced this disease. Mira never complained, and even continued to work until the last few weeks, when she was no longer able to walk. Her dignity, selflessness, and overall positive attitude were an inspiration to all.

Her friends from all walks of life were so supportive in so many ways, and she was incredibly grateful for for their efforts on her behalf. We were happy Mira was able to spend her last few weeks at home, surrounded by loved ones until she passed peacefully. We will miss her.

While so many did all they could for her, we know she would want to give a special thanks to the Dreizel Glueck Bikur Cholim Foundation.
